Where should I place My Powerhead Filter?

What i would do is, i would put it in the corner of the tank, and put some shrubbery around it like live or fake floating plants, and then the water can flow through the plants causing a cool effect. Then the other fish, if they want, can swim on the other side. Hope this helped :)
